Kawasaki ER-6N

Hyosung launched the naked version of GT650R, the GT650N recently. Here’s Kawasaki’s answer, the 2012 Kawasaki ER-6n.

The 2012 Kawasaki ER-6n is basically the naked version of 2012 Ninja 650. It is equipped with the same torquey, rev-happy compact liquid-cooled, fuel-injected, DOHC 8-valve 649cc parallel-twin engine which powers the Ninja 650. The ER-6n gets a vestigial windscreen and comes with all that hardware and superior handling characteristics which made the Ninja 650 so lovable.

Talking of looks, it has got very muscular look. The ER-6n’s bodywork aims at showing the frame, rather than hiding it. This bike may make it to India, considering Kawasaki is facing a tough competition in the 650cc segment from Hyosung in the form of GT650N. If launched, it is expected to be priced marginally less than the GT650N.
